I am Dive Instructor hoping to get a Power boating license to allow me to take customers out on the companies boat by myself. I am not sure where I will be based so a widely recognised licence would be ideal.

I am now old enough to get my boaters license in canada. I know pretty much everything i need to know, but i want to know the best way to get my license. Ive found websites, but then involve high fees like or something close to that. Is there somewhere or somehow to get it cheaper, faster, or easier?
Remember, this isnt the boating license for america, i want it for CANADA.

I just saw this truck on CMT that looks like a custom Dodge Ram convertible with a Chevy Corvetty rear end. The bed was converted into an engine compartment. Looked nothing like a boat but he drove down the road and straight into a lake and took off. Would he technically be illegal to drive his "truck" on the water without a boating license or would his license plates be good enough since it’s arguably enough a truck? Would he need enough life vests for all of his passengers?
